The current name – PREMIER MEDICAID (NIG) LIMITED - was adopted in 2003 in order to focus on the business of Health Insurance alone, according to the directive of National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS). Premier Medicaid is one of the first Eight HMO's ever to be registered for Health Insurance in Nigeria by NHIS (HMO/Z/001)
