Who is Press Play On Tape? Loïc Bénart is immersed in music and image since his childhood, composing soundtracks for his Super 8 films on a Casio VL-1. Evolving with his machines, he first composed on two audio tracks and a noise track on his first two MSX computers. He then composes on audiotrackers on his first Atari ST, moving on to four generous tracks, then 8. A certain idea of infinity at the time. Later, freshly graduated from an audiovisual school, he moves to Paris and gets his first job in advertising. Because of all the talented and interesting people he meets there, he will stay 10 years in this agency. As a chief film editor first, then as a special effects artist.
