Preston Campbell founded the Preston Campbell Foundation in 2015 to provide equal opportunity initiatives and programs that benefit all Australians when it comes to health, education, wellbeing, youth mentorship and employment. Since retiring in 2011, Preston’s impact has only grown. Recognised not just for his athletic achievements but for his deep commitment to community, he was awarded the Ken Stephen Medal in 2008 for outstanding community service and, in 2023, the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for his dedication to Indigenous youth and rugby league. Today, Preston is one of Australia’s most respected sporting ambassadors and unifying voices – continuing to inspire through his leadership, humility, and passion for empowering individuals, families, and communities to thrive.
