Prevention Works, Inc

Prevention Works, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit agency located in Kalamazoo, Michigan. We educate Kalamazoo area youth on the dangers of drugs, alcohol, and violence. Our programs are proven to be effective tools in the development of youth in this community. The mission of Prevention Works is to build stronger communities by providing comprehensive health education services to youth and families. Prevention Works, Inc. currently develops and delivers research-based prevention education programs that encourage young people and families to make wise decisions and live healthy lives. Major programs address substance abuse prevention, pregnancy prevention, violence prevention, parenting, equality awareness, and adolescent health. Prevention Works programs are designed to be both engaging and educational. Programs provide information through the use of experiential learning activities, team building opportunities, role plays, group discussion, goal setting opportunities, and behavior modification strategies.
