My focus is to help LGBTQ+ individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths through counseling. I achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan. My specialties include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), methods from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and techniques from Somatic Experiencing. I use the Minority Stress Model as a framework for understanding how discrimination, prejudice, gender norms, and racism results in higher occurrences of psychological problems.
