Prima LNG has been formed within SHV Energy to accelerate entry into small scale LNG market in Europe. SHV Energy operates in 28 countries and supplies LPG to over 30 millions of customers worldwide. The role of the Prima LNG is to efficiently transfer knowledge, economies of scale and standardisation across the group. The business units of SHV Energy are responsible for all sales and customers whilst Prima LNG acts as the fulfilment partner providing equipment and LNG to all Europe. This central management approach combines the benefit of knowledge and purchasing power of the SHV Group with the presence of local business units to offer the best and most cost effective solution for LNG in Europe. By doing this we can maintain local support and account management. Prima LNG sources LNG from terminals across Europe using our own fleet of LNG trailers and is capable of delivering LNG in a cost effective manner to customers in excess of 1500km from point of supply. Working with our approved cryogenic suppliers, we can supply equipment for commissioning in all countries supported by local engineering teams providing ongoing service and maintenance. In conjunction with the business units, we offer the full turnkey solution for a customer to switch to LNG and benefit from the lower cost and sustainability benefits of natural gas compared to other off grid fuels.
