The Primal Bee® hives lead the industry with our innovative, patented design. Along with our hives, we provide high-quality services to honey farms and pollination companies globally, ranging from on-site consultancy in customers' apiaries to advanced remote metric collection and data analysis. Founded in 2017 after over a decade of research and development, our work initially focused on exploring the interactions among honeybees, parasites, the hive environment, and their collective impact on colony dynamics. This research led to groundbreaking insights: The design of a beehive significantly improves colony development, performance, and disease management—more than previously understood. We have designed, tested, and refined a variety of hive types across varying geographies and climates. Our first industrial prototypes were introduced in 2011.
