Primary Ocean

Primary Ocean develops macro-algae (kelp/seaweed) cultivation and processing systems to help heal our oceans, soils, and atmosphere. Seaweed is one of the oldest, most renewable, and regenerative biomass resources on Earth. When cultivated, it can draw down Carbon up to 14% faster than tropical rainforests, mitigate ocean acidification, and anchor ecosystems through primary production and habitat creation. When processed, seaweed products can offset major petrochemical pollutants including fossil fuels, plastics, and agrochemicals. Primary Ocean’s first commercial product is an incredibly effective crop input called a liquid seaweed extract. Primary's agricultural products allow the farmer to reduce water, fertilizer and pesticide requirements, regenerate eroded soils and greatly improve farmers' crop yields, quality, and profits in both conventional and organic farming systems.
