Prime Biodiversity Conservation

Prime Biodiversity Conservation (PBC) is a Rwandan-based not-for-profit organization dedicated to preserving biodiversity, combating climate change, and fostering sustainable natural resource management for a better future. Established in 2018 by a passionate team of environmentalists, PBC addresses the urgent threats to Rwanda’s unique biodiversity while promoting nature-based solutions that enhance community well-being and livelihoods. Our mission is to enhance biodiversity conservation, support climate change mitigation and adaptation, and advocate for sustainable natural resource management. We believe biodiversity is the cornerstone of human survival and development, and our programs are designed to create a sustainable future for both nature and the communities that rely on it. At PBC, we envision a world where deliberate actions are taken to preserve biodiversity for the benefit of people and the planet.
