Primed Community

Primed Community is a registered not-for profit organisation based in Medellín, Colombia. Proudly founded in the Comuna 13. We run community-led projects, coordinate volunteer networks, and create immersive cultural and learning experiences that connect local residents, travellers, and global partners. Our programs support education, mental health, storytelling, language learning and social impact, with a growing hybrid model that links Colombia to international audiences. Our Storyteller Formation program empowers disadvantaged communities from around Colombia to share their history, resilience and process of transformation. Through training in storytelling, cultural memory and English, local ambassadors guide visitors through the lived experiences of their communities. Recognised by Recon Colombia for social entreprenuership (2019) and as a Trip Advisor's Travellers Choice (2021).
