The firm was established by Peter Prinsloo at the beginning of 1997 focusing primarily on the financial services sector. Since then it has expanded into the area of mergers and acquisitions, and has established itself in South Africa as a niche legal firm specialising in mergers & acquisitions, structured finance, banking law, fund formation and securitisation. Although most of the directors originally came from large law firms, the vision was, and continues to be, distinguishing the firm from the large firms by offering these specialist services at competitive rates via a small team of highly experienced lawyers. By maintaining a high degree of specialisation and a limited number of professionals, we are able to offer "best of breed" solutions to our clients within our specific areas of expertise.
