Prism Lighting Design is a women-owned architectural lighting studio founded in 2020 by Principal Designer Maxime O’Rourke. From Portland and coastal Maine to Nantucket and across New England, we partner with architects, interior designers, and builders to craft human-centric lighting that blends art, science, and impeccable detailing. We design layered light that elevates architecture, supports well-being, and meets energy and dark-sky goals—backed by rigorous photometrics, clear documentation, and thoughtful coordination from concept through on-site aiming.
