In 1974, H.E. Sultan Bin Rashed Al Dhaheri and Prismo UK founded Prismo Universal Gulf Co. Ltd. and since then it has been a major manufacturer of road marking and specialized paints and a contractor for road and bridge maintenance, pavement rehabilitation, road furnishing installation and road markings enhancement. During the last four decades, the company has successfully executed numerous contracts in the United Arab Emirates, the Sultanate of Oman, the State of Qatar, the Republic of Yemen, and Djibouti. In 1989, the company was fully taken over by Saber and became a 100% local company, rebranded as 'Prismo Gulf. Specialized manufactured paints offered by Prismo Gulf include Thermoplastic Reflective Road Marking, Acrylic Waterborne, 2k MMA Cold Plastic, Acrylic Heat Reflective, Photoluminescent, Modified Acrylic Waterborne and other Customized. Prismo Gulf takes pride in its diversified contracting and maintenance services targeting critical infrastructure verticals such as Airports, Airbases, Military/Civil Aviation Command, Schools, Transportation and Roads and Highway networks. Key applications include Profile and Structured Markings, Asphaltic Plugs Bridge Expansion Joints, Joint and Crack Sealants, Guardrail Reflectors, Spray Grip and Anti-Skid Surfacing, Reflective Road Studs, Ceramic Markers, Roadside Delineators, Bus Stop and School Zone Markings.
