PRITYA is an organisation that has published two award winning cookbooks – “Cooking at home with Pedatha – vegetarian recipes from a traditional Andhra kitchen” which is a tribute to the culinary wisdom of grandmothers. “Sukham Ayu: Cooking at home with Ayurvedic Insights” is an ode to ancient science of Ayurveda. PRITYA's objective is to encapsulate the essence of the wisdom of yesteryears. This objective is met through various projects of documentation, translation and classical dance. The cookery books, devaniya dance are a manifestation of this effort.
