Founded in January 2002, Priva International was established in a remote village of Rajasthan called Barmer. The mission was to empower the village women to become financially independent by doing applique handwork which was the speciality of the women folks.What started as a small crafts business from a home yard, soon became a revolutionary women empowerment tool for village women around Rajasthan. More women came to ask for work and join the organisation. In a few years time the strength of the women craftsmen grew to To generate more work for the growing artisans network, the company established a small sales and display unit in Jaipur. The quality of the work and the competitive pricing became their unique selling proposition. Soon, the international buyers flocked to place orders and get their designs transformed into beautiful products through Priva’s craftsmen. The company’s growth gained new heights when it became a preferred vendor for Zara Home. This was a turning point in Priva International’s history. Not only did the business grow, but it also taught them a lot about international designs, ethics, copyrights, delivery timelines, attention to detail and innovation Since then, Priva has continued to innovate and give its buyers new techniques, designs, prints and helping Brands achieve their production in a timely manner. The company works with small and big brands from Europe, USA, Australia, NewZealand, Africa, India and South East Asian countries. The strength of the company still lies in its network of women craftsmen who have continued to be associated with the company and grow with them. The women artisans have been able to uplift their families out of poverty and bring financial stability and good education to their families.
