PRO Seed Ltd is an agro-based company incorporated in 2018 as a seed company by the Ministry of Justice and Legal Affairs, and recognised by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security as a seed producing company. We are a full member of the Seed Trade Association of South Sudan (STASS). We are the leading local seed company producing quality seeds within the country. We also supply other agricultural inputs like; tools, equipment, fishing gears, beekeeping equipment and materials, and vet drugs as well as animal feeds. Objectives • Produce and trade in quality agricultural inputs (like seeds, tools and equipment). • Increase farmers’ productivity by building their capacities and promoting better-performing techniques suitable to respective farmers’ locations. • Create employment for rural farmers through contract farming. • Promote value chain development of major agricultural products like crops (maize, rice, sesame, honey hive products, etc. • Link research with farmers. • Increase access to quality seed by farmers across the country through regional seed production and the establishment of a reliable agro-dealer network.
