Professional Minds Ltd is run by Dr. Chris Smewing, an Occupational psychologist and Executive Coach. Chris combines a strong academic background with extensive practical experience of working as an HR specialist and consultant. He has worked with many types of organisations, both private and public sector, across Europe, the Middle East and Asia. His main areas of expertise are leadership development, individual assessment and coaching, competency modelling and development, assessment centre design and facilitation. In addition to his consultancy work, Chris is an Honorary Research Fellow at the Centre for Sustainable Working Life, Birkbeck College, University of London. He has a particular interest in the use of psychometrics in coaching and has published a number of articles on this topic. He is also the former Chair of the Occupational Section of the British Psychological Society
