PROFOUND IMPACT Our vision is to increase the retention of Black, Indigenous Women of Color in education who interrupt inequitable outcomes for all students. THE CHALLENGES WE ADDRESS Educator Retention Crisis-Teachers face unprecedented burnout and turnover rates due to added responsibilities, systemic pressures, and lack of adequate support and compensation, resulting in a revolving door that destabilizes schools and harms student outcomes. Mental Health and Wellness-Educators experience elevated levels of stress, anxiety, and depression, requiring targeted wellness support to address the unique challenges they face in today's educational environment. Student Success Barriers-Students encounter significant obstacles to academic achievement, including limited access to advanced courses and fewer educators who can serve as effective role models, mentors, and advocates for their success. Profound Ladies leads in diversifying the teaching force by recruiting and supporting women through personalized coaching, mentorship, and access to an inclusive and supportive network.
