Programme Against Malnutrition Pam

The Programme Against Malnutrition (PAM) with more than 30 years of existence, is the largest indigenous Zambian food security and nutrition-based non-governmental organisation (NGO) with a vast network of partner NGOs across the Zambia. Established on 11th November 1993, PAM is a non-profit, non-partisan, and autonomous organisation dedicated to improving food and nutrition security and income generation among small-scale farmers. Initially focused on mitigating food disasters and building the capacity of partner NGOs in service delivery, PAM has evolved to encompass a broader mandate of development-oriented programmes that include agriculture, nutrition, climate change adaptation, women’s economic empowerment, gender equality, sustainable livelihood diversification, HIV/AIDS support, and research.
