Progressive Distributors Ltd.(PDL) was launched in February of 2003 as the latest development in decades of Cayman Business. PDL is the impressive result of a merger of Kirkconnell Brothers Ltd, Foster Brothers Ltd and Fosters Food Fair Wholesale operations. The original companies which made up PDL are also companies which help shape and develop the Cayman Islands. The Kirkconnell Family has been in the wholesale business in Grand Cayman since 1963 when Kirkconnell Brothers Ltd began business in rented office and warehouse space. Foster Brothers Ltd was founded in 1967 by Steve and David Foster, and grew to become a successful business enterprise built on the twin foundations of efficient and ethical business practices. The Kirkconnell and Foster families have deep roots and deep family connections in the Cayman Islands and are active in the community. Progressive Distributors carried on the tradition of contributing to worthy community events, churches and sports activities. PDL is also proud of the recognition received from suppliers, an acknowledgment that the manufacturers value the relationship they have with their distributor. PDL now offers an extensive list of products from over 400 brands in Grocery, Food Service, Pharmaceutical, Health & Beauty Care and Souvenir & Apparel. PDL's high standards are reflected in the products they supply, the service they deliver and the business philosophy they uphold, which helped them to become leaders in the wholesale field.
