Project Divchata

Founded in August 2019, Divchata is an initiative dedicated to providing information that inspires. We connect Ukrainian women and girls globally via a digital platform and brand that was created with the sole purpose of facilitating the forging of powerful relationships. Using this foundation, we are building a diverse community rooted in a shared Ukrainian heritage to spark conversations that span geographies and catalyze unique and meaningful exchanges of ideas. Project Divchata has three main objectives: 1. Unite Ukrainian girls and women from all over the world. Inspire and support each of them. Discuss and analyze social issues that women face and come up with solutions or ways to deal with them. We forged the bedrock of our brand – our followers – through social media platforms where we share educational opportunities, inspirational stories, and relevant news. Most recently, we have launched Divchata Talk – a speaker series where Ukrainian women are invited to discuss issues related to their fields of interest and lived experiences and interact with the greater global Divchata community in real-time. By drawing upon this well of knowledge and experience, women have the opportunity to learn from one another and advance their personal, professional, and leadership development. We believe that in the education and meaningful participation of women in public life and discussion lies the foundation for a better future. Our mission is to connect Ukrainian women the world over to highlight the inherent value of our lived experiences and harness the power of our network.
