Project Play

Project Play brings play and education to displaced children living in northern France. It was founded in 2018, by a group of volunteers, in response to children-on-the-move in France having no access to education, play or safe spaces. It is a mobile service - working in day centres, safe houses and informal living sites. Sessions are carefully planned to support the development of key skills, help children to relax and to build positive memories. They are facilitated by its team of play workers. Project Play actively advocates for children on the move - access to play and education, alongside safety and protection, is a right. It is committed to improving safeguarding standards for this population. We are always looking to extend our network - so please reach out if you would like to support our work.
