Project Ramadan

At Project Ramadan, we harness the power of community and compassion to combat food insecurity. Since 2009, we have been dedicated to providing essential food baskets to families in need. Operating under Muslim Welfare Canada (MWC), a registered charity, our volunteer-driven initiative assembles and distributes healthy staple food items, ensuring that no family goes hungry. We serve underserved communities throughout the Greater Toronto Area, Ottawa, and the Canadian Arctic, partnering with food banks, women’s shelters, and Indigenous organizations. Our commitment to inclusivity means we deliver support regardless of race, religion, or nationality, fostering dignity and hope for all. As a 100% volunteer-run organization, we keep overhead costs low, allowing us to maximize the impact of every donation. We are proud to have made a significant difference in the lives of countless families, providing not just food, but also a sense of community and belonging.
