Project Shakti

Project Shakti is an Enactus Exeter initiative dedicated to helping people from different marginalised communities earn a living by sharing their special crafts, like handmade cards, scrunchies, and tote bags."Shakti" means "sacred power," and our goal is to empower these artisans so they can support their families. We work with non-profit organisations like Manav Sadhna in India to help women and children turn recycled materials into beautiful, useful items. By selling these products, they can earn money, learn new skills, and make their communities better. Our dream is to create a world where every item sold helps someone in need and shares a unique story.
