Established in 1990, Prometey Bank is the first registered commercial bank of Armenia. Its Head Office is located in capital Yerevan with 10 branches operating in 4 largest cities of Armenia. The Bank is a member of S.W.I.F.T.(BIC: PRMLAM22). The Bank is an affiliated member of MasterCard Europe and a full member and shareholder of the local payment system ArCa (Armenian Card). Prometey Bank screens all its transactions against the US OFAC, UN and EU sanctions lists and fully operates in compliance of US OFAC, UN and EU acts and directives. Prometey Bank is registered at FATCA (Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act) and has signed a cooperation agreement with US IRS (Internal Revenue Service). The Logo The image of Prometheus, a mythological hero, at the center of wine red square, is in the base of Bank's logo. The 4 sides of the square indicate- Customers- Shareholders and Investors- Community and Country- Employees. Corporate Colors The Corporate Colors of the Bank are: wine red, gold and white. The wine red symbolizes the benefit the Bank distributes to surroundings through its operation. The gold symbolizes the rich experience, long-lasting history and good traditions. The white symbolizes the novelty, progressiveness, and innovations.
