Prometheus Information has a proud 30-year history and has been serving Australian health insurers for over two decades. We’ve modernised it for today’s challenges. Our leadership team brings : Clinton and Josh have 15+ years each leading data and analytics in large corporations, including 5 years each in health insurance, delivering tens of millions in analytics projects. Our senior statistical advisor George, one of the original founders, is formally trained in mathematics and AI and has decades of expertise applying statistical methods to healthcare. When Clinton and Josh were at CUA Health, the regulator noted during a prudential review that their analytics capabilities were ahead of peers and most larger funds. That’s when we saw the opportunity: make that same sophistication accessible to the entire market. We’re already working with HCF—Australia’s 3rd largest health fund—on our fraud detection solution Appraise, and are in advanced discussions with other funds for our modernised data platform ProInsight. The timing couldn’t be better. to demonstrate member value, while fraud and anti-selection pressures grow—especially for smaller funds. Yet too many are stuck with inflexible homegrown solutions that have key person risk and limit performance. Prometheus solves this with purpose-built platforms that address the foundational analytics work—so internal teams can focus on the high-value insights.
