The green sector of the economy is one of fastest growing sectors in the US economy and an engine of growth, net job creation, and reducer of poverty worldwide. Women, youth and minority entrepreneurs represent some of the strongest potential to fuel this growth through their creation of green jobs and small business enterprises. At ProMicro Consulting LLC, our mission is to expand the economic horizons of green microentrepreneurs to strengthen their businesses and local communities. Our goal is to invest at thea grassroots level of to help low-wealth entrepreneurs to help them get the strategies, tools and access to resources to sustainably “green” their businesses and grow their business more sustainably to promote viable, vibrant local economies. Our approach is to use the following three core principles - pro-green, pro-grassroots, pro-growth - to help community organizations, nonprofits, and local government entities to answer the question of “how do we accomplish green grassroots growth in our community?”
