Promotor International

Promotor International is a Bologna-based company that has been operating in the trade fair sector for nearly thirty years and is among the nationwide leaders in the organisation of trade events such as the Bologna Motor Show, International Automobile Exhibition, which is the most visited trade event open to the public in Italy. A direct offshoot of Promotor International is the Centro Studi Promotor, a research centre specialised in the automotive market which provides a variety of services such as monthly surveys on market trends in the new and second-hand car and commercial vehicle sectors, conducted through interviews with a representative sample of Italian dealers. Since 2007 Promotor International belongs to the French group GL events, a company listed on the Paris stock exchanges and a foremost player in the organisation of events, management of exhibition spaces and facilities and provision of services on an international level. In recent years GL events has made substantial investments in Italy, a country that represents the French company’s second biggest market after the domestic one.
