Pronoi

The Pronoi Center for the Prevention of Drug Abuse & Addiction operates in the municipality of Kifissia in order to provide an area of expression, communication and support for the local community. By addressing addiction as a multifactorial phenomenon, the goal of prevention is to intervene on those factors that favor the emergence of addictive behaviors. Granted that, prevention should not only concern expert psychologists, psychiatrists, social-welfare officers and other health professionals. Prevention is a concern for all of us: parents, teachers, students, associations, cultural and sporting bodies, socially-aware adults, mass media and all those involved in the upbringing and socializing of children.
