Propel Space is providing Space Mechanisms, On-Demand. The small sat industry has survived, up until this point, making spacecraft that must rotate to perform their mission needs. We’re giving small sats mechanisms to give them the flexibility, dexterity and efficiency of larger spacecraft but in an optimized package for their vehicle size. Increased capabilities include thruster pointing for fewer thrusters, desaturation of momentum systems, antenna pointing for data transfer while doing other mission operations, and camera pointing for greater flexibility to RPO, SDA and similar observation needs. We focus on low-cost, low-lead time, and highly optimized SWaP to give small sats mass, time and cost savings they didn’t know were possible!
