Proscenium Architecture + Interiors Inc.(PAI) is an integrated architectural and interior design firm based in Vancouver, BC. We design spaces that allow people to connect, thrive in their pursuits and live lightly on the planet. Founded in 1996 with a focus on arts facilities, our portfolio has expanded to include institutional, commercial and residential projects of all sizes. We are passionate about process-driven, sustainable design with a modernist and site-specific approach. In recent years, our firm been recognized for sustainable and mass timber design, heritage renovations and workplace design. The theatrical proscenium arch—from which we derive our name— is a device for framing a common perspective. This element reflects our design approach: seeking sensitive, bold solutions that frame a common perspective.
