Proto Place

Proto Place is an intentional community of people. Built with affordable housing and transitional accommodation for the homeless and also full services, retail, addiction counselling, medical, flex offices, daycare, schools. All in one mixed use campus. Compact living for minimal resource utilization. Designed for community interaction. Target is to have 80 % car shares. Cars will be stacked in racks underground and automatically be put on charge. An AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) will greet you at the Auto Valet spot and take any groceries or items up to your unit for you. Same on departure. You can put your car “Go” bag in the AGV so you always have your personal items in the car you drive. You can request to always have the same model car otherwise the system will bring out the car with the highest remaining charge in it. Use you smart phone to request the car in x number of minutes. Or automatically call out a car as you exit your unit, if you want it. It’s a destination mall with an ice rink, roller coaster and Midway. Grow hydroponic vegetables. Urban mini-farm with laying hens.
