Protopia Futures

protopiafutures explores new grounds of edutainment as a medium, bringing together the captivating power of entertainment productions, while also striving to deliver the value and the depth of educational endeavors. Our collaborative and curatorial projects seek out new avenues for audio-visual and narrative storyworld design, rendering more accessible the realms of critical knowledge of the bleeding-edge scientific and technological innovation, as well as evolution in the cultural, social, and political and spiritual spheres more accessible. We hope to facilitate a platform for creating glimpses into radically hopeful futures, and to open up conversations and explorations about what it takes to get there. With all we do, we want to challenge the alienating dystopian/utopian SciFi stereotypes, and to inspire, and be inspired, by, what truly inclusive futures could be.
