Proyecto Mixteca Sustentable A.C. is a Mexican non-profit organization with over ten years of experience working in the Mixteca region of Oaxaca. The organization focuses on the regeneration of degraded landscapes, the conservation of ecosystem services, and the strengthening of local livelihoods through participatory strategies that promote integrated land management, community governance, and climate resilience. It implements projects in climate-smart agriculture, ecological restoration, identity-based ecotourism, sustainable value chains, and forest management. Its intervention model has received regional and state-level recognition for its effective results in soil conservation and water harvesting, always in co-responsibility with local communities and with full respect for their customs and internal organization.
