Prs Forestry Consulting

PRS Forestry Consulting provides practical forestry, GIS, and certification support to timber growers, contractors, and forest managers operating in increasingly complex regulatory and certification environments. We focus on helping operations prepare for FSC and PEFC certification, close audit findings efficiently, and align spatial data, planning, and day-to-day forestry operations in a way that is defensible, practical, and audit ready. Forestry compliance often fails not because standards are unclear, but because operational realities, documentation, and spatial data drift out of alignment over time. Our role is to help identify those gaps early and support managers in addressing them before they escalate into audit findings or certification risk. Our work typically involves- FSC readiness and certification support - Audit close-out and compliance recovery - Forestry GIS and spatial data integrity - Operational planning and risk alignment We work alongside management teams to reduce compliance risk without adding unnecessary administrative burden, focusing on solutions that fit real operational constraints rather than theoretical interpretations of standards. Based in South Africa, PRS Forestry Consulting supports forestry operations across KwaZulu-Natal, Mpumalanga, and beyond.
