Psons Limited is a fast growing integrated global trader and producer of steel-making commodities. After having built a strong global presence in iron-ore, and having acquired significant expertise in related commodities, the Company has now expanded into various minerals including steel products, chrome, coal, manganese etc. While headquartered in Hong Kong, the Company’s sourcing network pans various geographical regions across the world, to serve its primary growth market in China. Initially sourcing minerals directly from mine owners in low-cost producing regions, primarily India, the Company has since expanded its global sourcing network into new markets such as Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Middle East, Europe and Latin America. The Company has expanded upstream by entering into an open-pit magnetite iron ore project in North East Brazil, and has invested in a coal mine project in Sarawak, Malaysia. In lieu of strengthening its supply chain activities and achieving physical logistical operating efficiencies, the Company in 2008 entered the business of chartering vessels in-house. It today boasts a professional team who partner with major regional and global shipping companies offering Psons full control of its logistics supply chain.
