PT ARBE CHEMINDO, formerly PT Risjad Brasali, was founded in 1991. Backed by established entrepreneurs Mr. Ibrahim Risjad and Mr. Budi Brasali, the group has contributed to the chemical industry by manufacturing quality product in a competitive market. Located 30 kilometers east of Jakarta, on the Cikarang Industrial Estate in Bekasi, the factory of PT Arbe Chemindo covers an area of 1.5 hectares and employees a work force of 120 skilled employees. PT Arbe Chemindo is Indonesia’s sole manufacturer of high quality CarboxyMethyl Cellulose. “CMC”, which is sold under the registered brand names “ARBECEL”. The process technology for CMC originated from, Hoechst, Germany. A Technical assistance Agreement between PT Arbe Chemindo and Hoechst made the transfer of this valuable knowledge possible. The Plant manufactures a wide range of purified and industrial grades Arbecel CMC and PAC to meet the requirements of variety in different industries like food, pharmaceuticals, detergent, ceramic, textile, paper oil drilling and others. All product of PT Arbe Chemindo are supported by an excellent sales and technical service force, while a research and development team constantly monitors and improves the quality of product and service. Aside from a great list of customers locally, our CMC and PAC products are also exported throughout all the five continents and widely accepted by multinational companies arround the world.
