PT Indobamboo Lestari was founded in Kusamba, Bali, in 2012. We are determined to become a pioneering company in Indonesia focused on the design and manufacturing of Structural Engineered Bamboo building products sourced from sustainable forest restoration programs. Indobamboo integrates community based sustainable forestry with cutting edge bamboo manufacturing technology to offer a carbon neutral building product capable of uptake in both domestic and international building markets. Through this process, Indobamboo commits to pioneering the use of bamboo to replace unsustainably sourced natural materials, by creating export-quality products, harvested and managed following our stringent sustainability framework, and in collaboration with the communities indigenous to the bamboo forest areas. Through a vertically integrated value chain, Indobamboo can ensure product quality control and track socio-environmental benefits from harvest through manufacturing and to construction.
