Public Architecture

Public Architecture provides the network and knowledge necessary to leverage the design of the built environment as a tool for social gain. A national nonprofit 501(c)3 organization based in San Francisco, Public engages architecture firms, nonprofits, and manufacturers to commit to design for the public good through its nationally recognized program, The 1+; acts to bring about positive community change through public-interest design initiatives and pro bono design service grants; and shares the potential of design to change the world through advocacy and outreach.
