PublicNTP is a public charity created to improve global IT stability by deploying unrestricted, unfiltered, and highly-accurate time sources around the world. In first-world countries, it is easy to take synchronized time for granted. One of the first hurdles of global business and international infrastructure is maintaining synchronized time with clients spread over multiple countries, continents, and time zones. Lack of properly-synchronized time impacts systems the world relies on - computer security, cell phone networks, and cloud computing just to name a few. PublicNTP's mission is to provide no-cost, unrestricted access to time data with atomic-clock grade accuracy globally, focusing most heavily on under-served portions of the world.
