Publiki, the specialist luxury interiors and design company will be launching its rst store in the trendy London neighbourhood of Beckenham. Oering vintage, retro and contemporary designer furniture with a bespoke design and build consultation service, the new 1,300 sq ft design studio and interiors store will be a creative showroom for customers. The showroom has been designed to resemble a modern luxurious home featuring a hi‐tech lighting scheme oset by vintage lighting pieces, to create ve distinct areas: Showroom, Library, Kitchen, Garden and Workshop. Publiki’s mission is to oer designer pieces of furniture at aordable prices that t seamlessly into today’s modern home, with a focus on the 1930’s, through to the early 1970's. Sourcing interiors directly from auction houses, and with designer contacts across the UK, Europe and the US, Publiki guarantees the best and widest choice of designer furniture and retro pieces from around the world. Head of Design, Nigel Richardson said; “Our service sets us apart, when we approach a customer brief we look at the function of the proposal and then complete extensive research to ensure the right tones, textures and inspiration is visualized. We also look at different time periods and piece together a beautiful timeless design that will excite our customer as much as us.” The brand will also oer many design exclusives, including a partnership with Parisian paint manufacturers Zuber ‐ the last factory in the world to produce woodblock printed wallpapers and furnishing fabrics since its carnation back in 1797; and Designer of Year and legendary Glaswegian fabrics & wallpaper brand Timorous Beasties, founded in 1990 by Alistair McAuley and Paul Simmon.
