I started Purple Hill Consulting in 2022 to help Medical Affairs teams across different companies with leadership support, team development and medical strategies. My professional life spans over more than two decades, with the first half as a practicing physician and the second half in the Pharma, Biotech and Diagnostics industries. My passion is team leadership, and I have had the privilege to support and develop excellent Medical Affairs professionals in my global and regional leadership roles. During my industry years, I have worked in a wide range of indications, including oncology, haematology, immunology, neurology, and rare diseases. My devotion to continuous learning led me to do an MBA a few years ago and to become a professional coach. This has helped me gain a broader perspective of a company's moving parts and how to motivate people. Since I started Purple Hill Consulting, my main projects have focused on navigating through complex situations, quickly understanding the needs, and promptly working with the teams to define clear, tangible medical strategies and outcomes. I have helped departments through development, growth, and difficult times due to unexpected layoffs, conflict, and crisis situations.
