Purpose Built Investments™ (PBI) is a private equity investment firm specializing in early-stage venture technology, real estate and private lending on real estate. Since its inception in 2007, PBI has launched 10 different investment funds and attracted clients ranging from self-directed IRA holders to high-net-worth individuals in both the U.S and abroad. Through its two venture funds, ACCESS Venture Funds I and II, PBI has made 64 investments into early-stage portfolio companies and third-party funds, diversified primarily across fintech, proptech, and crypto. On the private lending side, PBI serves as the preferred money partner for high-volume real estate operations that buy-and-flip distressed residential and commercial properties. In 2019 Dave and his sons launched Purpose Built Education, the education and training arm of PBI.
