Pusat Harian Kanak-Kanak Spastik Phkks Bandar Ipoh

Founded in 28 September 1988, Pusat Harian Kanak-kanak Spastik Bandar Ipoh started with only 5 disabled children under its wing. Previously, our committee members were engaged in donation collection among ourselves just to rent a hall for the home for RM 200 per month. PHKKS plays a crucial role in giving undivided attention to pre-school education, therapy, crafting skills and special counselling to the disabled, and the poor. Thanks to the people who care, now PHKKS already owns a hall, playground, dormitory, and a few facilities such as a small computer lab and an art classroom. Up until now, there are 70 registered individuals (the disabled and the poor children) and the elder whom passionately follow our programs, activities, special education and therapy.
