We have developed a range of specialized products to facilitate structural connections into a wide variety of masonry substrates. This includes extensive applications for preservation and restoration work in existing masonry buildings. Our range of fasteners has led to improvements across the construction industry - enabling more effective and reliable retrofits to be utilized while reducing the time and cost of construction. Our story Our story started in assisting the Canterbury Earthquake Royal Commission (New Zealand) in collecting information on the performance of all masonry buildings in the Christchurch area following the 2010/2011 Canterbury earthquakes. The leanings from this event led to over a decade of research into anchor performance in masonry, the earthquake behavior of masonry buildings and the development and validation of seismic retrofit techniques for these buildings. This task soon became a passion. The passion became our mission: to help protect those who live and work in and around masonry buildings while preserving their heritage value for generations to come. Our team Our team comprises of structural engineers with international experience in earthquake retrofit and remedial solutions for masonry buildings, as well as worldwide post-earthquake building assessment and extensive experimental research experience. Our expert engineering team is available to provide guidance on structural detailing and design. In addition to extensive product testing data available, we go a step further to ensure the highest level of confidence in our products, by providing on-site proof and quality assurance testing.
