Q Shelter

Q Shelter is a not-for-profit peak body that builds the strength and capacity of the housing and homelessness sector. Our members are individuals and other organisations who share our vision of seeing every Queenslander with a home. For more than 35 years, Q Shelter has worked with regional networks, governments, the community sector, private sector and people with lived experience of housing need and homelessness to achieve evidence-based solutions. Specifically, Q Shelter provides-training and professional development -tools and resources to assist organisations to be effective and impactful in service delivery -support to regional networks to work on state-wide issues and opportunities -policy and investment recommendations to government on key issues impacting housing in Queensland -advocacy for a healthier housing system, where every Queenslander has a home.
