Qatar consumer complexes (QCC) is the mother company of some of the earliest privately owned by Qatari supermarket chains in Doha. The company was established by one of the Qatar’s most distinguished economist, successful businessman, earliest entrepreneur, and a retired official of the ministry of Economy and Commerce, Mr. Ali Al Khalaf. In the late 80s, Mr. Ali Al Khalaf managed to start and establish a chain of supermarkets in various locations of Doha, starting with a Mamoura Complex, which opened its door in 1989, in Al Assiri area. This chain of supermarkets were developed with the purpose of serving consumers with the highest quality of goods and services, offering various commercial activities, such as food products, garments, fresh vegetables, fresh meats and other services under one roof in extremely competitive prices and minimum profit.
