Qbotix Rover

QBotix Rover is the rover engineering division at Kumaraguru Institutions, dedicated to creating advanced ground robotics systems. The team unifies mechanical design, embedded electronics, software, and autonomy to develop reliable rover platforms capable of operating in real-world field environments. What We Do QBotix Rover designs, prototypes, and tests rover technologies, advancing capabilities in mobility, manipulation, sensing, and communication. The team represents the institution in major rover competitions and strengthens the campus robotics ecosystem through applied, multidisciplinary engineering work. Purpose We exist to build impactful rover systems and cultivate strong engineering talent by giving students direct experience with end-to-end robotic development.
