QDP has been in existence for 22 years and has developed two focus areas- Consulting Electrical Engineering - Specialist lighting design. To provide the above services, we employ staff with qualifications in architecture and electrical engineering. As part of the lighting design service we can evaluate new and existing lighting installations and then provide alternative, more efficient lighting systems, together with the capital costs, pay back periods, energy savings, etc. We are also able to provide the necessary design input to change the existing infrastructure to take advantage of, for example, lighting control systems based on occupancy and light level sensors and integrated shading systems
