Welcome to QF Radio -'the official voice of Qatar Foundation'. QFRadio began its pilot broadcast in 2009 and launched itself officially on 23 January 2011. It has not looked back since and is striving constantly to test the limits of broadcasting in Qatar and the whole region. Its daily programs seek to promote QF's fundamental pillars of science and research, education and community development. by focusing on the bright young minds in this country, QF Radio wants to change the way the region thinks about radio stations and make its programs educational and informative, especially in the field of Qatari history and traditions. Find your frequency QF Radio is an integral part of Qatar Foundation. It broadcasts news from QF to the rest of Qatar and the region and works to explain to listeners exactly what is happening within Education City and the other centres to the wider-world. In addition to the work of QF, the station covers news and initiatives in the rest of Qatar. QF Radio, the official station of Qatar Foundation, wants to help every single one of its listeners to find out what interests them, what they care about and what is happening in the world around them. The station's slogan," Find your Frequency " encapsulates QF Radio's desire to provide a wide spectrum of programming to suit every taste and encourage people to find something that inspires them in their lives. Speaking the audience's language When it started broadcasting on 93.7 FM, QF Radio focused primarily on Arabic-language programming as part of its dedication to teaching Qatari youth about the importance of their heritage. After a year of broadcasting, 91.7 FM QF Radio's English-language station was announced, widening the broadcaster's audience and appeal.
